Who we are

​

We are a community of Christians located here in the beautiful area of the South Kaipara Harbour. Our local township of Parakai is world famous in New Zealand for its hot water mineral springs. 

​

River Valley Baptist was formed in 2001 by a small group of believers joining together and praying. We have grown to being a very active church of around 60 people.

​

Our services are at 10 am on Sundays. Everyone will receive a warm welcome.

​

Our services are fairly relaxed as we give praise and glory to Jesus who is our Saviour, Lord and Friend.

​

There is a strong emphasis on prayer because we  believe God hears and answers our prayers.

​

Our goal is to serve God in the Parakai area and to show His love.
